POLICE are hunting a motorist who fled after flipping his car onto its roof and smashing into a tree in a dramatic accident.

The driver fled from the scene in Leaver Gardens, Perivale, and is thought to have bumped along the crash barriers of the A40 before losing control completely.

Witnesses saw a man stagger away and said there was blood around the wrecked Volvo saloon at about 7.45am today (30).
