A man accused of a double murder at an anti-gun demonstration in Southall six years ago is to stand trial at the Old Bailey in April next year.

Shakah Anderson, 27, allegedly shot Mohamed Korneh (top photo) and Selorn Gbesemete (bottom photo), both 21, at the Tudor Rose nightclub in Southall, on 15 December, 2002.

Mr Gbesemete, of Stonebridge Park, northwest London, was found collapsed in an alley near the club and died at the scene.

Mr Korneh, of Croydon, south London, died later in hospital.

Anderson, of Chaplin Road, Bristol, pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder.

He was remanded in custody by Judge Brian Barker QC,  until the trial on April 15, 2009.
