Don't get an unfair ticket

Driver beware - in an effort to raise even more cash for 'specialist projects' Ealing Council now issue parking tickets on Bank Holidays on single yellow line streets where parking is permitted after 19:00 Monday - Saturday and all day Sunday.

Drivers beware - in an effort to raise even more cash for 'specialist projects' Ealing Council now issue parking tickets on Bank Holidays on single yellow line streets where parking is permitted after 19:00 Monday - Saturday and all day Sunday.

If you park there on a Bank Holiday you will be issued with a parking ticket. I received one on August 25, 2008.

The rest of the country's councils adopt the view that bank holiday restrictions will be treated the same as a Sunday - but not our beloved council.

So drivers beware - on Tuesday 23 and Friday, December 26 if you park on a single yellow line street (where Sunday/night parking is allowed) you will be issued with a ticket.

Well done Ealing Council and compliments of the season to you too.
