A SELF-PROCLAIMED diva and an inspiring business mentor has made it to the finals of a women in business awards ceremony.
Gayle Edwards, from South Ruislip – known in the business world as The Breakthru Diva – beat more than 200 other women to become a finalist at the Women Inspiring Women awards.
The entrepreneur has been running courses for women to boost their confidence and kick start their businesses since 2005.
“It was such a privilege to be selected as a finalist and a fantastic opportunity to meet some really inspirational women from across the UK,” she said.
“At this time of high unemployment levels, the opportunity for women to access the best possible advice and solutions to give them a head start in their chosen career is even more important than ever.”
