A man from Hayes has been charged after a horror car crash in Harrow ended in the death of a much-loved mother.

Carl Morris, 32, will appear in custody at Hendon Magistrates' Court today (Thursday, January 8) facing four charges of causing death by dangerous driving, causing death whilst driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, causing death whilst driving with no insurance and causing death whilst driving whilst disqualified.

The crash happened in Eastcote Lane, Harrow, on December 27.

Faye Norris, 31, was travelling as a passenger in her Vauxhall Corsa when it hit other cars in the road.

She remained in hospital, but died on Saturday, January 3, of her injuries

Touching tributes were paid to the devoted mother on Facebook and thousands of pounds have been raised through a crowdfunding website set up to raise money for her young son Harley.

Family member Maxine, who set up the page, wrote: "Faye, you were one of the bubbliest people to ever walk the earth.

"We all know how much you love Harley and would do anything for him and for that reason this page will continue. We know that you would love for him, when he's ready, to do something special for himself with this money raised."
