With less than two months to go till Christmas shoppers got into the festive spirit at Wyevale Garden Centre's across west London.
In Hounslow, more than one thousand people were welcomed with mulled wine and mince pies at the Syon Park Garden Centre, and hundreds more at the Osterley Garden Centre, last Thursday (Oct 30).
While adults browsed for early discounts for stocking fillers and decorations in the gift shop, children were thrilled to meet and join in sing-along sessions with Frozen's Anna and Elsa, and took part in a treasure hunt.
The Christmas preview evening also raised money for Marie Curie through a raffle.
Martin Wingate, Wyevale Garden Centre manager at Syon Park said: "Our Christmas preview evening was a brilliant event and we were delighted with the turnout, with more than a thousand visitors on the night.
"Our customers had a really fun evening with complimentary mulled wine, mince pies, hot food stands and a range of entertainment.
"Everyone enjoyed a little retail therapy, taking advantage of our exclusive special offers in the Christmas shop, while many families took the weight off their feet with a meal in our restaurant, which stayed open throughout the event.
"The event wasn’t just about lights, decorations and trees however – a raffle was conducted on the night in aid of Marie Curie to raise money for the charity."
