The viol is a six-stringed instrument with frets like a guitar which is played between the knees with a bow.

Chelys is made up of former students of the Royal Academy of Music and Trinity College of Music, including Northwood professional musician and teacher, Jennifer Bullock. The concert will be followed by a cream tea.
