Three men were attacked by a group of violent muggers in the early hours of Saturday morning during a string of 'brutal' robberies.

The offences all took place between midnight and 2am in and around Hounslow town centre, Detectives said yesterday.

The first robbery took place outside Yates pub on Bell Road, near the 120 bus stop heading toward Lampton Road. The victim was with two females and was robbed of his coat and personal property.

Soon after the thugs struck again near the Etap hotel, in Staines Road. The victim was walking home after stopping at a kebab shop on Bell Road when he was robbed of personal property.

At 1.30am in Balfour Road a third victim was approached and chased up Lampton Road before being thrown to the ground and robbed.

All the victims were male and received a number of injuries during the assault. The suspects involved appear to be part of a group.

Det Insp Kam Sahi said: "The robberies were particularly brutal with little regard to the injuries inflicted on the victims and if anyone witnessed the incidents or has information which would assist the investigation, please contact police as soon as possible."

Anyone with information about any of the crimes above should call Hounslow CID on 020 8247 6160 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
