HARROW and Brent are limbering up for a memorable day tomorrow (Wednesday) when the Olympic torch passes through the two boroughs.
Fifty torch bearers have already been named and were nominated for their hard work and dedication.
In addition to community members and tireless charity fund raisers it is expected that a number of high profile celebrities will be announced later who will also carry the torch through Harrow and Brent.
The Olympic torch will arrive in Headstone Manor, Harrow, in the presence of the Mayor of Harrow and other VIP and will make its way through the borough and reach Sudbury hill at 10.22am and moves into Brent.
Members of the public are being encouraged to line the route and cheer on the torch throughout the day.
The procession through Brent will take in Wembley Stadium and is expected to last until just after 12.15pm when it is passed into the neighbouring borough.
