Decline of high street is so sad

I HAVE just been reading the article about all the shops closing in Hounslow, such as the Howard Scott shoe shop, which has been there for years.

Although they say we cannot go back to yesteryear, I'm sure some well-known shops would help.

I recently went to Westfield, for the first time.

It had so many well-known shops in there, crowded with people, and with plenty of security. It seemed so much safer than Hounslow.

Our cheap shops are encouraging thieves and there should be more police and security about. Not everyone has the internet or can afford or can use computers, so internet shopping is not accessible to everyone.

Hounslow town centre does need to change for the better.

I have lived here all my life, and love living here, but it's so sad what it's becoming.
