POLICE investigating the death of a woman hit by a train at Kenton station this morning say it was not suspicious.

A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman said: "I can confirm that a woman has died after being struck by a southbound Bakerloo line train at Kenton Tube station today, Friday 12 March.

"The incident, which was reported to police at 9am, is being treated as non-suspicious.

"BTP officers are currently attending alongside the London Fire Brigade and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.

"The line was handed back to London Underground at 9.55am."
