Opposition leader David Cameron met counsellors and councillors when he toured Harrow Civic Centre today (Friday).

Mr Cameron visited family counselling charity Relate, which is based in the centre, in Station Road, Harrow.

The Conservative Party leader spoke with director Hazel Hewitt and met other counsellors from the project.

Speaking exclusively to the Harrow Observer he said: "Relate is a fantastic organisation, there's nothing more important than keeping Britain's families together.

"If you keep families together and prevent relationships breaking down that helps to cut crime and improve performance at school."
