A dalek will invade Ealing Central library on Friday, to entertain children and exterminate their boredom.
The fun-packed Doctor Who-themed event will feature Caan the Dalek and will include a range of activities. A remote control Dalek, models, activity book sets and other prizes will be up for grabs in a colouring competition.
Daring children can hunt for aliens in the library and there will be a quiz for young fans.
Caan will be joined by authors Jonathan Green and Nick Griffiths, who will read from his book Dalek I Loved You.
Northfields councillor Phil Taylor said: ÒThis is a really fun way to get children into the library and hopefully get them to take an interest in books."
