A FATHER-OF-THREE caught with images of child pornography on computers at his home tried to blame his pregnant girlfriend.

A jury found Paul Awcock, 43, of Glebe Avenue, Ruislip, guilty of 14 charges of possessing indecent photographs of children at his home in August 2006.

The 45 video images "ranged in seriousness from images depicting children in erotic poses to penetrative sexual activity between children and adults and outright sadism," prosecutor Alexandra Healy told Isleworth Crown Court last Wednesday.

Among the adult pornography found by police was a film of Awcock, a computer expert, and his partner having sex.

Awcock also told police the equipment found in his home belonged to his former girlfriend and his daughter and he was simply repairing it.

Following the verdicts he was warned to expect a prison sentence. He was remanded on bail for presentence reports and will be sentenced in October.
