A CYCLIST was treated on the side of the road after a collision in Goldhawk Road.

The victim, a man believed to be aged 42, was treated for leg injuries after falling from his bike at around 5.40pm on Tuesday (August 6) evening. Paramedics treated him on the road beside the pavement outside Sahara Barber Shop near the junction with Woodger Road, Shepherd's Bush.

One fire engine was also called to the scene.

A London Ambulance spokeswoman said: "We were called just after 5.40pm on Tuesday to Goldhawk Road to reports of someone who had fallen from their bike.

"We sent one ambulance crew to the scene who treated one patient reported to be a 42-year-old man for a leg injury. He was taken to St Mary's hospital as a priority."
