AN EXPERIENCED courier killed after being hit by a coach in Central London was reportedly from West Drayton.
Henry Warwick, 53, was cycling along Bishopsgate, near Liverpool Street station, when he was involved in a collision with a bus at around 1pm last Friday (3).
He was pronouced dead at the scene.
The driver, a 61-year old man from Essex, was later arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.
Mr Warwick worked for Rico Logistics couriers in Tabernacle Street. He was well known in cycling circles, and was a familiar face at the Foundry, a Shoreditch pub popular with bikers.
Last year, the father-of-two appeared in a Youtube video about life as a bike messenger on London's perilous streets.
Tributes for Mr Warwick have poured in to online cycling forums since his identity was confirmed.
Cyclists will be holding a 'go-slow' cycle ride in Mr Warwick's memory this Friday, to the spot where the accident happened.
City of London Police are appealing for witnesses.
