two peoplewhose friends, family and carers say are still deeply in love havecelebrated a 100th birthday and a 77th wedding anniversary.

More than 50 family members andfriends were at Lawnfield House residential home in Willesden on Mondayto mark Lillian Rawlinsons 100th birthday.

Herhusband Albert, who lives in Purves Road, Kensal Green, is 97 years oldand two days later the couple celebrated their 77 years of marriage

Staffat the home say the great great-grandparents share an incredible lovestory and Mr Rawlinson regularly visits his wife to bring her favouriteflowers roses.

AmandaBlackwell, deputy general manager, said: Their relationship is a realtear-jerker sometimes, they are so deeply in love. Whenever he comes tovisit she never wants him to leave. Its incredible.

Lillian is a wonderful lady. She is very healthy and was thrilled with her party.

MrRawlinson said: We met through my cousin in our teens and fell in lovestraight away. The key to such a long marriage is teamwork. We havealways done everything together, there has never been a boss in ourhousehold.

The Mayor of Brent, Aslam Choudry arrived at the party with Mrs Rawlinsons telegram from the Queen.
