INTERNET users should be able to access Harrow Council’s website with ease after a revamp.

The new-look website, which is due to go live tomorrow (Friday) has been designed to make it easier for people to access on mobile or tablet devices, so they can get the latest information about council services while on the go.

The website cost £23,000 and was designed by the council’s web team, with advice from content management specialists Jadu.

Harrow Council leader and portfolio holder for customer services Councillor Thaya Idaikkadar, said: “We wanted to replace our rather out-dated website with something more modern that makes it easier for residents to find the information they need.

“With more people accessing the internet on tablets and mobile phones, it is important that we were able to keep up, and provide council information in a range of ways.”

You can use the website to make payments, book appointments, and find information about things like rubbish collection, pest control and grass cutting at www.harrow.gov.uk.
