Coronation Street star Katherine Kelly, who plays Becky, will swap the cobbles of Weatherfield for Twickenham town centre this weekend, as she opens the town's new Poundland.
The budget shop will move into the former Woolworths store, in King Street, creating up to 30 new jobs.
Katherine will be giving out 50 £1 vouchers to be spent instore. Staff will also give away 500 packs of batteries to its first shoppers, from 10am on March 13.
