A lamppost fell onto a car parked in Headstone Lane, crushing and destroying the unoccupied vehicle, last night (Thursday).
Firefighters from Harrow Fire Station who were called to lift the column off the car at 7.30pm and it is believed a van had earlier clipped the pole, making it unstable.
Headstone Lane was cordoned off while the emergency services dealt with the situation.
