Harrow and Brent fundraisers did something funny for money to help raise a record amount for Comic Relief.

Among the people getting involved in the charity day were youngsters from the pre-school at Harrow College, who put the icing on the cake and a smile on their faces.

The children - the sons and daughters of students and staff based at the Harrow on the Hill campus in Lowlands Road, Harrow - put their own toppings to the cakes on Thursday.

Meanwhile Harrow Council customer services officer Kireen Rooney did a super job at the Civic Centre, collecting £1,150 while dressed as wonder woman for the day.
