A TUTOR at Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College is to have a paper published at a pretigious European education conference.

Roopa Nagori has been invited to share her findings on ‘Key Principles of Peer Reviews: A feedback strategy to engage the postgraduate learner in formative assessment’, co-authored by college colleague, Matthew Cooper, at the European Conference on Education 2013.

Authors of accepted abstracts will have the opportunity to publish their associated paper in the official conference proceedings. There is also a chance to be included in the International Academic Forum Journal of Education, which is an internationally reviewed journal associated with the Asian conference on Education.

Roopa said: "The paper is a culmination of the years of support and inspiration provided by the management and MBA research team at the College. I am hoping to gain best practice insight from the conference and share it with all academic staff from various faculties."

The conference will take place from 11- 14 July 2013, in Brighton. The theme for this year, ‘Learning and Teaching Through Transformative Spaces’, chosen by the conference committee and program advisers, encourages submissions that consider learning and teaching, and other research disciplines connected to education.

Roopa follows in the footsteps of colleagues Seth Lewis, Ashak Puranik and Matthew Cooper, all academic staff at Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College to have a thesis published and presented at the conference. They have become a prolific group of research academics to deliver Higher Education in a Further Education context at the College.
