I WAS disgusted to see your very personal attack on Councillor Paul Bristow for his daring to stand as a parliamentary candidate in Middlesbrough - a marginal seat currently held by the Labour Party.

Mr Bristow is one of the most effective, high-profile councillors in this borough.

Perhaps that explains why he is being attacked for exactly the same 'offence' as Lisa Nandy - a Labour councillor fighting the seat of Wigan. It seems that with you it is one rule for one party.
