FOOTBALL fans can earn free tickets to watch the Brentford FC by volunteering to clean up their neighbourhood.

Brentford FC Community Sports Trust has called on people to spend two hours collecting rubbish at Riverside Lands, Chiswick, on the morning of Saturday April 9.

In return, they will receive a free ticket for them and a Junior Bee to watch Brentford take on Swindon Town at Griffin Park that afternoon - when the home side will hopefully be parading the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

The clean-up is being organised ahead of the new 567's Youth Football Tournament, which will take place at Chiswick Rugby Club.

Brentford FC Manager Nicky Forster said: "We are delighted with this scheme, which reinforces our reputation in the community as a family club. Those taking part in Football Clear-Up will be rewarded for their hard work and commitment to the community, and I hope the boys will put in a performance to make them proud."

To take part in the Football Clear-Up and earn a free ticket, fans aged 18 and over must register at www.footballclearup.com .
