PUPILS at Chiswick School have broken a record by achieving the highest GCSE results at the school so far.

An impressive 93 percent of students got five A*-C grades while breaking a further record in Maths, with 81 percent getting grade C and above in the subject that the government has said is in decline.

Students who did particularly well were Athena Rees and Luisa Charles who both got 11 A*s and Ruth Clark Wilkins who achieved 10 A*s, while seven others achieved a high mix of A*s and As.

Headteacher Tony Ryan said: "These results show Chiswick is continuing to make steps on its journey to be an outstanding school.

"I would like to congratulate all of our students and the staff that taught them, on their hard work and success."
