A frail Hounslow pensioner was taunted and robbed by a young boy who rammed his mobility scooter and then made off with his wallet and walking stick.

The 87-year-old was driving his scooter along Imperial Road, by the Green, in Bedfont, when a boy aged around 10 started driving into the back of him on a mountain bike on Tuesday, September 16.

The youth forced the elderly man to stop and snatched his stick as he attempted to stand. He then grabbed his victim's wallet from his jacket pocket and made off on the bike still holding the walking stick.

Det Insp Jeff Minns, of Hounslow CID, said: "This was a disgraceful incident at 2pm in the afternoon. Somebody must have seen something.
