A GREEN Party politician has launched a webpage to allow parents and children to check how polluted their local schools are.

London Assembly Member Jenny Jones has launched ‘how polluted is my school?’ enabling parents to identify the 1,148 London schools it is claimed are located within 150 metres of roads used by more than 10,000 vehicles per day.

Ms Jones is calling for greater effort to be made to tackle air pollution in London, which the Green Party says provides a major public health risk.
