SOUTH Ruislip Early Years and Children’s Centre in Queens Walk has been rated ‘outstanding’ in all areas by the education watchdog Ofsted.

It has achieved the top status following an unannounced inspection before Christmas.

The inspectors report praised the centre for creating an environment where children blossom and flourish and play a full and active role in their learning, show great curiosity, desire to explore and are inquisitive learners.

The centre had been rated as outstanding for its daycare at an inspection in May 2009, when it was in Station Approach.

Manager Gerry Sycamore said: To receive an outstanding judgment for the second time is a wonderful achievement, particularly as we only moved into our new premises inpJune.

It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the staff team.

The centre is registered for 49pchildren aged six months to five years old and also supports children with learning difficulties and disabilities.
