A CELEBRITY former teacher living in Hounslow has been charged with a series of historic sex offences.


Simon Warr, of Great West Road, Hounslow, was today charged with three counts of indecent assault and four counts of gross indecency with a boy at two schools in Suffolk.

The 60-year-old has appeared on BBC's The One Show, as a social media commentator, along with other TV and radio shows.

Two of the counts of indecent assault and three of gross indecency with a boy relate to St George's School, in Great Finborough, where police are investigating allegations of abuse in the 1980s.

The other charges relate to the Royal Hospital School, in Holbrook, during the late 80s and early 90s.

Mr Warr is due to appear at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates' Court on September 24.
