CCTV pictures have been released in a bid to trace two men in connection with the inappropriate touching of two female Tube passengers.

The photographs, recorded by a security camera at Rayners Lane station, have been issued by British Transport Police officers, who are appealing for the public’s help to identify the men.

DC Anna Fisk said the offence took place at 12.15am on Sunday, August 4.

She added: “The 21-year-old victim was making her way towards the exit with her 19-year-old friend when two men approached them. One of the men blocked the victim’s path and tried to kiss her. She pushed him away, but when she attempted to reach for her mobile phone he held on to her arms.

“Both women were inappropriately touched before the men fled the station.”

Anyone who recognises either of the men or who has information about where they live or work, can contact the transport police on 0800 405 040, or text 61016, quoting background B4/LUA of 10/09/13.

Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
