THE ninth Heathrow Classic Car Show was a roaring success this week.

Hundreds of people flocked to BA Concorde Club on Sunday to see more than 250 exhibitors display their precious vehicles.

A winner was selected in each of the five motoring categories; American & custom, classic, commercial and military, vintage and motorcycles.

Finally, a special trophy was given to the best vehicle in the show, decided through a spectator vote and won by the Rolls-Royce 20/25.

But the day was not just for motorheads -there was also a bouncy castle and mini fun fair to keep the kids happy.

Event organiser, Garry Court, said: "It was an absolutely brilliant show - the best I have done."

The event was in support of the Great Ormond Street Hospital. A raffle draw raised more than £500.
