Car flips in Harefield collision

A CAR overturned following a collision in Harefield this morning (Wednesday).

A CAR overturned following a road accident in Harefield this morning (Wednesday).

The accident happened at around 8am on Breakspear Road North, and involved a Ford Focus and a Vauxhall Astra.

The fire brigade attended, but the person in the upended vehcile was not trapped.

The driver was taken to Hillingdon Hospital, but his injuries are not thought to be serious.

As of 9.55am, road closures are still in place and there are traffic delays in both directions between Gilbert Road and Fine Bush Lane, as police and the council clear the crash debris.
