POLICE are appealing for information following a brazen theft from a shop in Victoria Station.

CCTV images were released of three men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident, which took place on April 2.

The theft, captured on CCTV, took place in a small shop on one of the platforms.

PC Jason Weston Collinson, of the British Transport Police, said: "Two men entered the shop just before midday and, while one of them spoke to the assistant, a second crept around the counter, opened the till and stole its contents."

The men then fled through the nearest exit on to Buckingham Palace Road.

PC Weston-Collinson added: "We've reviewed CCTV and spoken with witnesses and are asking for help from any members of the public who may have seen anything or who may recognise the men pictured in the CCTV images to come forward."

Anyone with information should call British Transport Police on 0800 405 040 quoting reference B3 of June 10, 2009.
