IT IS unbelievable that Nathan Doherty has received a custodial sentence which means that he will be walking among the public again in just 18 months after killing Frazer Bradshaw.

This makes a mockery of the British judicial system.

How can it ever deter others from behaving in a similar matter if they know that British law will be soft on them?

What is more, I note that Doherty is being encouraged to make use of the prison gym, building up his muscles perhaps, so that he will come out fighting fit.
