THE 48 hour bus strike in Uxbridge is underway- causing a major headache for travellers.
The strike began at 00.01am today (Friday) and is expected to last until midnight on Saturday.
Drivers from First buses can be seen gathering outside the bus depot in Baker's Road, Uxbridge, where they are expected to picket throughout the day.
Routes 331 and the A10, are running after some bus drivers chose not to support the strike and come in for work.
However, with the U1, U2, U3, U4, U5, and U10 all not running, passengers are being advised to find alternative means of transport.
It is the second bus strike in two weeks, following one at the end of last month.
It is anticipated this strike will cause far more disruption than the last as the school term has now begun.
