Robbery on buses in the borough has plunged by 53 per cent after Mayor of London Boris Johnson pledged to divert resources to the problem.
The drop, down to 34 crimes over the year in which the mayor has been in power, comes after the roll-out of specialist police teams for buses.
However, sexual offences on the buses rose by eight per cent in the same period, to 14 recorded incidents.
