Olivia Demetriades reports: A burst water main has closed the eastbound lane in Kensington High Street causing disruption over the weekend.

The A315 eastbound closure, which is between the High Street Kensington Underground Station and the A4204 Kensington Church Street junction, is to allow for emergency repairs.

The water main burst on Saturday 16 August.

A spokesman for Thames Water said: “When our pipe burst at the weekend it caused a hole to develop under the road which has to be repaired before we can put the road surface back. We’re sorry for the disruption and are working as hard as we can to get things back to normal.”
