FIRST class graduates are being offered scholarships to complete further study at Brunel University.

The university, in Kingston Lane, Uxbridge, is offering scholarships worth 15 per cent of tuition fees to people with first class honours degrees from any UK university who choose to pursue postgraduate studies at Brunel.

The scholarships are available to any student with an unconditional offer to study a masters course, including full-time, part-time or distance learning courses, starting in September.

The offer is also open to students who earned their first degrees at UK university institutions overseas, with scholarships worth up to £2,250 a year.

Graduates with any class of degree from Brunel are also being offered a 15 per cent discount off the tuition fee for any postgraduate course.

Professor Julia Buckingham, Brunel’s vice-chancellor, said: “It is important that we do what we can to encourage high quality students to take their studies to the next level.

“These scholarships and discounts will help to remove any fears they may have about the cost of a masters degree.”
