A girl aged 15 was stabbed in the arm in broad daylight in what is believed to have been a dispute with her teenage boyfriend.

The incident happened by the a Shell petrol station in Fulham Palace Road near the junction of Lillie Road at about 3.40pm on Thursday afternoon.

Officers found the girl with a wound to her arm and took her to nearby Charing Cross Hospital. She was later discharged. Later, two boys, aged 14 and 15, were arrested on suspicion of GBH and remain at a west London police station.

It is believed the girl and the suspects were travelling home from school when they alighted at a nearby bus stop and started fighting. It is thought one of the boys arrested is in a relationship with the victim.

Forensics officers sealed off the junction of Silverton Road and Fulham Palace Road as they carried out enquiries.

The incident is the latest knife incident involving teenagers to hit the borough and follows on from the conviction earlier this month of five teens for the stabbing of a 14-year-old boy at Hammersmith Bus Station.
