Orphaned and less than four weeks old, piglets Billy, Bobby, Bacon, Benty and Bastian, are the latest addition to Hounslow Urban Farm.

The piglets, who arrived at the farm when they were a day old, were donated by a local pig farmer when their mother died after the birth.

Despite these tragic circumstances, staff at the farm have reported that all five of the piglets are doing well.

"They went onto the bottle very easily when they arrived, feeding every couple of hours in the first week," said a farm worker.

"Now, we're feeding them three times during the day and twice during the night."

Along with their love of feeding, the piglets are very people friendly and enjoy jumping on the laps of staff and visitors at the farm in Faggs Road, Feltham.
