Thames Valley University has topped the national league tables when it comes to students getting a job.

The figures revealed by HESA (Higher Education Statistics Agency) revealed that 95% of TVU graduates are employed within six months.

TVU, which also has a campus in Ealing, has the "best record for getting their students into employment" within these tables, according to Times Higher Education magazine.

Vice-Chancellor of TVU, Professor Peter John, said: "Our vision is to be the foremost employer engagement university in the country and these new figures, supported by our outstanding employer and industry links, show that we are well on the way to achieving this.

"At TVU we believe in helping students learn from work, learn for work and learn in work and we will continue to prepare students for their future careers from the moment they set foot in the door to the moment they leave."
