Drug dealing on Brentford's estates is creeping up, prompting police to send out a plea for people to come forward with information.

Sgt Nathan Fane of Brentford Safer Neighbourhood Team says drug activity on the Haverfield Estate and the Brentford estates around the Ealing Road area has gone up over the last few months with more Class A drug users visiting the areas.

He said: "Residents who see anything, let us know what's going on. We don't need people to give their details, we are happy with anonymous information.

"We want people to remember that criminals call you a grass to protect themselves."

This appeal comes over a year after father Dean Tulley was shot dead in a machine gun raid on a flat in the Haverfield estate (pictured).

The police suspect that the horrific attack, which happened on January 25, 2007, was drug related and are still offering a reward for information that leads to the identification, arrest and prosecution of the people responsible.

They say that after the shocking shooting and until very recently, they felt they had the drug activity in the area under control. It is just in the last few months that they have started to see an increase, and they need the backing of the public to be able to target the people responsible.
