Suspect arrested for attempted robbery with aid of police helicopter

Police use helicopter, dogs unit and officers to track down suspect in Kensal Green.

A man appeared in court after police deployed the MPS helicopter in Kensal Green.

The Twitter account for MPS in the Sky, the police helicopter, tweeted about the incident in the early hours of Sunday.

Damian Fraser, 34, of Allington Road, Queens Park, was arrested in connection with the incident.

He appeared in custody at Hendon Magistrates' Court on Monday charged with one count of attempted robbery and one count of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

He was remanded in custody and will appear at Harrow Crown Court on Monday March 24.
