Labour's Barry Gardiner retained his seat and was re-elected as MP of Brent North.
He received 28,351 votes to win the seat.
Conservative candidate Luke Parker won 17,517 votes; Lib Dem Paul Lorber collected 2,607; UKIP's Alexander Craig scored 2,024 votes; and Green Party's Scott Bartle 1,539 votes.
Speaking after his win, Mr Gardiner said: "We've done a great job, and now it's time for the electorates to do their job.
"All I can speak for is Brent.
"They understand Labour's message, and we're thrilled to say it seems as if they've voted that way."
Runner-up Luke Parker told getwestlondon: "It's much closer than we thought, but we fought it to win it.
"We've had a lot of swing from British-Indian voters.
"Many voters don't decide on their vote until the last hour before they vote, and that doesn't show in the exit polls. We've [myself and Barry Gardiner] fought a very clean fight.
"It's been very fun!"
