A 14-YEAR-OLD boy from Wembley has been given an anti-social behaviour order for causing trouble in the local area.

Karama Mohammed Karama, of the Preston Ward, was issued with the order on March 9 at Brent Youth Court.

Theasbo prevents him from acting in a way that could cause any person tofear for their safety while in a group of two or more people. The ordercovers the whole of England and Wales and will run for two years.

SaferNeighbourhoods chief inspector Taff Thomas said: The MetropolitanPolice treats anti-social behaviour very seriously and in conjunctionwith our statutory and voluntary partners, we will take out appropriateorders, to prevent further offending."

CllrLincoln Beswick MBE, lead member for crime prevention and public safetysaid: Most young people in Brent are law abiding and a credit to theirparents and our community, but where despite help and guidance youngpeople turn to crime the Community Safety Partnership will take robustaction and we will do everything in our power to protect the people inBrent from them.
