A second cannabis factory has been discovered in Hounslow in the space of two days.

Police found more than 100 plants at an Isleworth maisonette yesterday afternoon, just a day after they had raided another drugs farm in Osterley, finding 200 plants.

The plants discovered in the latest raid were little more than seedlings, as you can see from the photo.

Their diminutive stature was in stark contrast to those found on Wednesday, which were described by police as being the size of small Christmas trees.

Police tweeted yesterday afternoon, after the raid: "Another warrant executed today and another cannabis factory found, caught the drugs early, over 100 plants recovered."

No one has been arrested in connection with the two raids this week, though police say enquiries are ongoing.

It is the third cannabis factory found in the borough in just over a month, following the discovery of 300 plants at an Isleworth on June 4.

Between the three raids, police have now prevented drugs with an estimated value of up to £1.2 million getting onto the streets of London.
