A 70-year-old woman has been treated for smoke inhalation following an incident in Ruislip Manor.

Two fire engines attended the home in Windmill Hill, Ruislip Manor where a pan fire had set off a smoke alarm.

Eyewitness Ashley Dawes reported a 'burning smell', but said she could not see any flames.

"There was a family and an old lady in a wheelchair out in the street," she said.

London Fire Brigade said they were called to a home at 3.18pm to reports of a fire alarm going off.           

LFB left the scene just before 4pm.

London Ambulance sent a first responder.
