A teenager has been charged with the rape of a schoolgirl in a Harrow park.
Binak Hasa, of Salmon Street, Kingsbury, was arrested following an attack on the 14-year-old in The Grove Open Space, in Lowlands Road last Wednesday (03).
The 18-year-old was arrested along with a 14-year-old boy who has been bailed as the police continued their investigation.
The pair were spotted in Harrow Town Centre after the attack.
Following the rape the whole area was cordoned off, including the Harrow School-owned woods at the southern fringe of space, as forensic officers scoured the site - which is crossed by at least one public footpath - for clues.
The picturesque park, which is opposite Harrow College, leads to St Mary's Church, in Church Hill, on Harrow on the Hill and is often used as a shortcut for people walking to the station.
Hasa appeared at Harrow Magistrates Court, in Rosslyn Crescent,  this morning (10), he was remanded in custody until November 12.
