BOROUGH-WIDE drinking restrictions are due to come into force tomorrow (Friday, July 19).
The whole borough will become a controlled drinking zone (CDZ), giving police the power to confiscate alcohol from nuisance drinkers.
Anyone refusing to hand over their drinks, could land themselves with a £500 fine.
The zone's introduction is part of a council-led crackdown on antisocial behaviour, ranging from littering to drug abuse.
Police figures show a 25 per cent drop in antisocial behaviour across the borough and a 43 per cent fall in violent crime between April and June.
Councillor Ed Mayne, Hounslow's cabinet member for community safety, said: "This new zone is not about penalising decent people enjoying a drink or two with their picnic in a park.
"It's about cracking down on alcohol-fuelled bad behaviour and standing up for the vast law abiding majority in Hounslow."
Police can confiscate alcohol from anyone within a CDZ considered likely to cause disorder.
