Reports this morning suggest the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, will be standing for Parliament in 2015.

Mr Johnson has apparently told LBC radio this morning (Wednesday, August 6) that he will stand but has yet to decide where.

The Conservative celebrity has been linked to Sir John Randall's Uxbridge and South Ruislip seat because Sir John announced he was to step down at the general election.

The seat is regarded as being close enough to London if Mr Johnson wanted to continue as Mayor and reasonably close to his home.

But the Mayor has always refused to favour one seat over another .

Amid the speculation, Radio 2 DJ Chris Evans suggested no one knows where Uxbridge is. We complied a list of a few things we feel put Uxbridge on the map.
